NUCLEOME THERAPEUTICS a fast-emerging biopharma that is building a passionate, creative, and dedicated multi-disciplinary team of scientists with expertise in gene regulation, genomics, machine learning, drug discovery, data analysis and software development, whose mission is to decode and mine the regulatory “dark matter” of the human genome to transform drug target discovery and deliver first-in-class precision medicine for autoimmune diseases. The Role

We are looking for a highly organised, proactive, and reliable individual to join our team as an Executive Assistant who will be an integral part of the Company. We are looking for someone that is a self-starter, thrives within a dynamic working environment and is motivated by creating impact.  Attitude in this role is key – you will possess a strong ‘can-do’ attitude and thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a one-step ahead mentality together with exceptional decision-making and problem-solving skills.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing primarily high-level support to CEO and C-Suite including complex diary management, meeting preparation, and taking minutes/actions, maintaining e-filing system and other relevant tasks as necessary.
  • Board coordination, seamlessly arranging board meetings and dinners, including venues, travel, and accommodation, assisting with agendas and board packs.
  • Review and assist with miscellaneous reports, documents, and presentations.
  • Internal and External stakeholder management.
  • Day-to-day creative problem solving, always being one step ahead and being able to foresee a problem and have a solution in hand.
  • Being the person at the heart of the team, supporting with projects, proposals, and commitments, and coordinating and planning everything from travel arrangements to fun activities and socials.
  • Owning the welcoming of new hires, making sure that they are properly onboarded to the team and feel confident and prepared for their new role.
  • Support and manage the upkeep of the data management system/virtual data room.
  • Sourcing and managing suppliers for the office as needed, maintaining good relationships, and negotiating deals when required.

Required Experience/Skills

  • CEO/C-Level EA experience
  • Highly competent in diary management, working across multiple calendars and time zones.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, with excellent spelling and proof-reading skills.
  • Able to effectively interact and communicate at all levels
  • Exceptional time management and organisation skills; as well as ability to prioritise tasks and balance multiple prioritise/projects with excellent attention to detail.
  • Enjoy working as part of the team, whilst also working effectively with autonomy without reliance on instruction.
  • Self-starter, who takes a proactive approach with a ‘one-step-ahead’ mindset and a willingness to be agile and get involved across the organisation.
  • Genuinely care about team members and the work we do.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a rapidly changing environment with exceptional decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced IT skills in Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (and willingness to learn new software).
  • Professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.

Desired Experience

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical and/or biotech industry
  • Working knowledge of fundraising data management system (such as Firmex) would be advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience using a MacBook.
